| On March 19-20th, 2013, the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, hosted the Student Joint Seminar on topic |
| of Scientific Impacts on Agriculture, Food Security and Sustainable Environment, as a part of series activities of |
| the Overseas Internship Course @ MUSC-2013. The seminar was divided into 2 days, comprised with 4 |
| sessions (Computational & Materials Sciences, Biodiversity & Ecology, Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences, |
| and Cell & Gene Technology) of about 21 oral presentations of both Thai and the overseas students from Chiba |
| University and Niigata University, Japan. Chiba University and Niigata are the sister universities of Mahidol |
| University, where we have well established the joint study program together that jointly award the Double |
| Degree to our graduate students. |

| The students were enjoyed exchanging academic experiences and were fostered to recognize their roles as the |
| global citizen by exchanging research knowledge, culture and friendship during the seminar. The |
| Abstract book of this joint seminar has also provided for all participants and audiences. |
